TBT - April Fools Day is right around the corner, and everyone is probably looking for a perfect April Fools Day prank. April Fools Day is one of the memorable event happened in my life. It’s April Fools Day when an absolute confusion early in the morning of 2008 to have a positive pregnancy test on hand. Yet, it’s true and it’s funny! Below are some harmless jokes that you can play with somebody.

Disable the computer mouse.

The computer in our house is one of my husband’s treasured possession- It’s so frustrating when it’s not working, so disable the mouse on purpose, by putting paper under it or taking the ball out of the mouse. Surely, he will be annoyed that the mouse isn’t working and then I can swoop in and ‘save’ them.

A Call from the principal

This works great, especially with my grade 5 daughter Nathalie, who is well-behaved at school and rarely in trouble. When she comes home from school, I told her that the principal called and told me about some rude behavior that occurred during lunch break. Eventually, she denied it and started to cry when I told her that she is grounded (no tv privileges or her cell phone) and she is really mad. She just get over it when I told her it was all a joke!

Colorful milk.
Add a few drops of food coloring into the milk container…hehehehe…my son Miguel will have no idea why his milk is blue or green. No taste, safe, and funny.

Fake bugs in random places.

My mother-in-law scared my sis-in-law Kelaida by putting fake roach around the plate of Escabeche served on the table…. 5 minutes before her fiancee arrived. She didn’t laugh, but we did!

Label it and Tape it

Take a can of chili beans and take off the label. Next, take a DOG FOOD label and tape it on with CLEAR tape. Then put a small can of cheese, sour cream, and a can opener. At lunch, open the chili and mix the ingredents. It looks like dog food… hehehehe… “WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU EATING?!?!?!?!”

No matter what trick you play, be sure that it’s safe. April Fools Day isn’t fun if your hurting someone. :-)
